ABOUT AARON
Aaron Pomerantz, LMFT is a licensed individual, couples, and family therapist in private practice in Portland, Oregon and Boulder, Colorado.
Aaron is an interactive, collaborative, and relational therapist. His therapeutic approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges. He integrates complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach, tailored to each client system. With compassion and understanding, he works with each individual, couple, or family system to help build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing.
With over a decade of experience in the mental health field, Aaron has worked with a wide variety of client populations, clinical teams, and agency cultures. Aaron has had specialized training both locally and internationally on systems theory, cultural humility work, organizational dynamics, and trauma-informed care.
Aaron values each client and attempts to understand issues and problems through the lens of culture, socio-economic status, ethnicity, race, and religion. He is LGBTQ friendly, respects each individual's spiritual or religious path, and believes in family of choice.
